Our history

Sigedis was founded in 2006 by the Banque-Carrefour de la Sécurité sociale (BCSS - central social security data), the Office national des pensions (ONP - national pensions office), the Service des pensions du secteur public (SPS - public sector pensions service), the Office national de sécurité sociale (ONSS - national social security office) and the Service public fédéral Sécurité sociale (SPF - Federal public service for social security).

Our very first assignment was to modernise and digitise the IT management of individual accounts containing career data for private sector employees.
