Requesting your digital key without a Belgian eID
To use online government applications such as mypension.be, StudentatWork.be, mycareer.be or accesamesdonnees.fgov.be, you need a digital key.
To do this, you can use one of CSAM's digital keys for this purpose, such as:
- your eID (Belgian identity card)
- itsme®
- or via another mobile app or email (TOTP).
What if I don’t have a Belgian eID?
For example, because you are resident abroad or you are temporarily staying in Belgium. In this case you can request a digital key through mybelgianID.beay11.link.new_window.
Why is this necessary?
- For accessing your data in government services such as mypension.be, My Student at Work, mycareer.be or accesamesdonnees.fgov.be.
- Because it is secure and reliable – your identity is verified and confirmed by video.
- Specifically for citizens abroad who cannot use the traditional Belgian registration methods.
mybelgianID.beay11.link.new_window uses a secure process to create digital keys. You will only be able to finalise your application after your details and identity documents have been verified.
